A business executive originally from Ohio, Richard has a successful history as an
entrepreneur. Prior to becoming owner of Creative Management Group, Inc. in
1977, Richard started three businesses in Ohio which he sold to move to Kentucky
where he started a chain of Supermarkets. In 1977 Richard moved to Atlanta
to start CMG. Over thirty years Richard has worked with thousands of Financial
Advisors and structured hundreds of teams each year across the U.S. He has worked with
a broad client base. Richard frequently speaks on team building, goal setting,
time management, motivational management, professional selling skills, and personal
attitude development, and has been featured in numerous publications.
Peter Nelson, Executive Consultant
Peter joined CMG in early 2006 and brought nearly 20 years experience working in international
sales and marketing with AT&T/Lucent Technologies. Working with the diverse cultures and business practices
of the international market has made him especially aware of the importance of understanding the special needs
of each person/group with whom he is working, which enables him to provide the focus necessary for his clients
to achieve their unique goals.
Peter is a graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia. Away from the office, he enjoys spending time with
his wife and his friends, enjoying good food and good wine, reading, traveling, and playing golf.
Randy Kent, Assistant Vice President, Executive Consultant
With nearly ten years of experience as a marketing consultant, Randy began working for Creative Management
Group, Inc. in 2001 as a Project Manager. Since that time he has worked exclusively in the Financial Services
Industry. His clientele include financial advisors with UBS, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Merrill Lynch, Wells
Fargo, Raymond James and RBC with production ranging from $300,000 to $4,000,000 per year.
He has worked with advisors in California, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, Oklahoma,
Texas, and Utah.
He specializes in helping his clients generate referrals and introductions, develop a sales
process to transition referrals into new clients, and retain clients through enhanced client services, and
team organization.
Randy has a B.B.A with a concentration in Marketing from The University of Georgia. He enjoys camping,
working out, cycling, and UGA athletics. He loves spending time with his three dogs, Sophie, Dearborn,
and Gris.
Timothy Rife
Tim brings thirty years of consulting experience from a wide variety of businesses to
Creative Management Group, Inc. His areas of expertise include economic analysis, marketing,
construction processes and public affairs. His clients have included state and local governments,
financial institutions, real estate developers, professional associations and retailers.
Tim received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Georgia State University with a
further emphasis in Marketing. He also completed three semesters of graduate work in Finance and
Marketing at Clemson University.
He has one child, a son who is completing his Ph.D. at Kent State University. Tim spends his
time-off writing humorous articles for several blogs.
Jerome Deutsch
Jerome joined the Creative Management Group in 2011. He has over 25 years of experience in the financial
services industry, with tenure in public finance investment banking, fixed income product management,
investment analysis and training.
Jerome specializes in developing strategic marketing plans, sales cycle analysis, individual goal planning
and attainment and team building processes. His experience gives him a unique perspective and focus to meeting
the expectations of his clients.
He graduated from the University of Massachusetts, with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and
from the George Washington University, with a Master’s degree in Education. Away from the office, he
enjoys cooking, working out, jazz and the company of good friends and family.
